Tariffs and more tariffs
CMON buckles down; Bordlandia shuts – CMON: pauses all future development; will focus on delivering existing promised games; laying off a lot of the creative team. CMON profit loss was recently confirmed as being over $3million loss.
Stonemeier (+ a number of other publishers) are suing the president over the tariffs
Final Frontier Games – declares bankruptcy, closes down. Cites non-payment of a large order from CMON as the final straw (CMON disputes any unpaid due payments)
Greater Than Games – shuttered by owner Flat River Group, resulting in layoffs.
