This week in Weird Giraffe Games September 15, 2025

We're back with another look into the life of Weird Giraffe Games!

This week was packed with ups and downs:
Nick took on the CFO hat to power through accounting and taxes.
Carla recovered from surgery (with much-needed rest) but still tested out new changes for our upcoming mythical birdwatching deduction game (working title: “Logic & Larks”).
We wrestled with Amazon listings—getting Hoards of Dragon Meeples, Logic & Lore playmats, and older WGG titles online for Prime shipping.
Learned new productivity hacks with Gmail tools like Boomerang and Gmail Notes.
Talked about the challenge of communication, delegation, and working sustainably without burning out.
Moved seven pallets of older games into our own storage—so now you can find them more easily!

Plus, we played some games:
🦉 Logic & Larks playtest (new escalation mechanic!)
Root with the River Otters (Nick nearly won but the birds took it)
🛸 The X-Files (fast, fun, and nostalgic)
Maracaibo (Co-op mode) – and gearing up to try the competitive version soon.

We're also heading out to Seattle and Portland next week—excited to meet folks on the West Coast!
