Resist! Board Game Review | Guerrilla Warfare vs Franco + My Favorite RZA Beat Ever | Episode 101
Game of the Week: Resist! — a solo card-driven game about Spanish guerrillas fighting to topple Franco's regime at the end of WWII. It's tense, emotional, and one of the most affecting solo board games I've played in a while — one of three David Thompson designs that invaded my table this year.
Track of the Week: “Careful (Click Click)” by Wu-Tang Clan. My favorite example of RZA's eerie, counterintuitive production style.
Bonus: A new chapter in my ongoing Dwelling solo RPG sessions — “One Plate of Sugar After Another.” Pancakes, sex, love, and the hauntings of the stomach in the dark hours: https://www.breakupgamingsociety.com/blog/dwelling-solo-rpg-journaling-session-four-kitchen-scene
Listener Shoutouts: Jason & Joseph, your cocktail booklets and Defiant Frog stickers are on the way: https://www.breakupgamingsociety.com/donate
