An informational video about Standards for Playing Card Sizes ... and a bit of a rant, too.
Remember Harry Nilsson's animated movie "The Point"? There's a great line in there that goes "A point in every direction is the same as no point at all."
Well, to paraphrase that line: "Too many standards is the same as no standard at all."
There are a lot of standard traditional sizes for playing cards - something for everyone, you would think. But still, I see a host of custom sizes in games these days, and for no apparently reason.
This video also includes a bit of a rant about odd choices in cards used in board games. I ask your forgiveness ahead of time! And, as usual, I'd love to hear your comments.
